AsahistoricalandculturalancienttowninGuizhouProvince,Qingyanhasmorethan100culturalrelicssites,23ofwhichhavebeenincludedintheatlasofChineseculturalrelics.Guizhouvolume.WalkinginQingyan,youcanseetheancienttown'sfamousplaceseverywhere.Thereare37ancientbuildingsofMingandQingDynastiescrisscrossedinthetown,includingninetemples,eighttemples,fivepavilions,threecaves,twoancestralhalls,onepalaceandonecourtyard.Amongthem,therearethreestonestelesineightstonesteles.Theseancientbuildingsaremasterpiecesofexquisitedesignandcraftsmanship.Forexample,thestonecarvingofCiyunTempleandthewoodcarvingofshoufotemplearetheonlyexquisiteworksinGuiyang.
The"zhaoliluncentenarysquare"infrontofuswasbuiltintheGuangxuperiodoftheQingDynasty,withuniqueshapeandexquisiteworkmanship.Themostinterestingisthe"downmountainlion"onthestonepillarsonbothsides,whichisthemostingenious.MostofthelionshapesinChinaarestandingorsquatting.Thedesignofthiskindofdownhilllionbreaksthetraditionalconceptandfullyreflectstheattentionofthebuildersatthattimeandthesuperbskillsofthecraftsmen.Mr.LiuHaisu,afamousarchitectinChina,praisedthiskindofcraftas"reallyrare".Oppositetobaishuifangisdingguangmen,whichistheSouthGateofQingyanancienttown.Itwasbuiltinthereignofemperorqiangqiandhasahistoryofmorethan300years.Thecitywallisbuiltinaccordancewiththemountainsituation,withazigzaglengthofmorethan2000meters,whichisveryrichinthecharacteristicsofsouthernmountainfortress.Thecitywallis4.5metershighand3.5metersthick,andthethreecharacterplaque"dingguanggate"inscribedbyZhaoXilinisinlaidabovethegatehole.DingguanggateupperenemytowerisathreeBay,doubleeavesandtopwoodstructuregatetowerwithstoplogrooftruss.Standingonthecitytower,youcanseethesmokecurlingandthevegetationflourishing,whichisaharmoniousandpeacefulscene,reflectingthesmokeofgunpowderandthenoiseofwardrums.
ThemostfamouspersonintheancienttownisZhaoyijiong,thenumberonescholarinYunnanandGuizhou.TheexistingformerresidenceofZhaoyijiongwasbuiltinthemiddleandlateQingDynasty.Itisawoodenstructurewithtwoentrancesandfourcourtyardsonthetopofthemountain.ItsitssouthandNorth.Ithasafacingdoor,twochambers,mainroom,backroom,wholewell,gardenandsoon.Itcoversanareaof828squaremetersandaconstructionareaof500squaremeters.Chaomenisadoubleverticalflowergate,4metershighand2.1meterswide.Thewoodenplaquewasinscribedwiththeword"Wenkui".Ontheinnerwallofthenorthcourtyardwall,thereare100"Shou"characterswritteninvariouscolors,andtherearemorethan30existing"Shou"characters.NowZhaoyijiong'sformerresidenceisaculturalrelicprotectionunitinGuizhouProvince.
