英语的衔接语也叫过渡词，就是用来衔接上下文的那些词语，如：then，and，after all，等等。连接词连接英语的句子和段落，使文章流畅自然，使英语句子与句子之间，段落与段落之间的关系一目了然。常见的有：and，but，or， for(因为），nor，so， yet，both…and，not only，but also， either…or， neither…nor。
